Rejected Banners - 9!

Hello again! I've got several more banners that I made for the Flash Message Board. This is all that I made for that board. For some reason, that board really lost a lot of traffic when DC relaunched its entire line last year. Flash never seemed to pick up very much after that. :(

Four Score And Seven Vampires Ago...

I've GOT it! Or I'm ON something! YOU decide!

I KNOW why Abraham Lincoln hates vampires in his new movie! Lincoln is a WEREWOLF! That's not a BEARD on his face! It's FUR! John Wilkes Booth is gonna assassinate him with a silver bullet! It all FITS! Heck! This stuff writes ITSELF! ;)

Now, I haven't seen this movie yet, and probably won't until it hits USA or TBS sometime in the future, so if this kind'a scene ISN'T in the movie, and a stand-up comic uses this joke, please remember where you heard it first! ;) I'll be back on Saturday with more stuff! ;)

Lois & Clark No More??

As most of you know, DC restarted their universe and comics line with all-new Number 1's across the board. They also made all of the heroes and villains younger and fresher. I've only read one or two stories since then, since I'm more of a Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age fan of most of my comics. I still read some of the newer TPB's, though.

Anyway, with the Superman-Lois Lane marriage over, I decided to tell MY version of how the two dated, lived as a married couple, and split up! Now, not all of the humor will be YOUR cup of tea, but -I- thought it was funny! ;)

Oh, I wanted to try something new on the Superman Message Board when I posted these banners. I put 'em together as a gif, and posted 'em all at once! I'm going to show you all how THAT looked, then post all of the individual pics below. :)

Oh, and in case you couldn't tell, these were all posted on the Superman Message Board. :)

The gif wasn't TOO bad, but I'm not going to use gifs all the time. Rather, I'll use it quite sparingly. :) Now, here are the jpegs that made up the gif, in case it goes by too fast to read. :)

Heh. I hope no one was offended by this. It's just a sample of MY demented sense of humor, is all. ;)

Rejected Banners - 8!

Hello again! I've got some more banners made that aren't being used at all. These would all have been on the Flash Message Board, but that board's been kind'a dead since DC's Nu52 took effect in September of 2011. It's a shame, because I thought Flash would've been one of the books almost in the center of the whole thing, since Barry (Flash) Allen was the character responsible for the universe shifting.

Good morning from the midwestern United States! :) I've got a few more banners here from my "rejected" pile that I decided I don't REALLY like all that much! I've got some MUCH better banners comin' up in da future, though, and you can see by these a BIT of what's gonna be goin' up sometime soon. :)

Rejected Banners - 6!

Okay, I THOUGHT I was done with the Rejected Banners, but I was wrong! These are just too blamed UGLY for me to use! Heh. :)

They WOULD have been used on the DC Comics and Superman Message Boards if they were deemed worthy by me. And don't worry about me bein' mean to the guy who made these in the first place! -EYE- was the guy who made 'em in the first place! ;)





















I forgot: ONE banner wasn't bad at all, but someone came along, and submitted a very similar banner. It's the one with all of the super-villians on it, and I figured I had enough of my own up so far, and put theirs up instead! :) Now, I'll have more schtuff posted next week sometime, so I'll be takin' orf now! :) See ya later! :)

In Memoriam - 14

Frank Cady, the actor who played Sam Drucker (the General Store owner) on The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, and Green Acres, has passed away. I always loved his character. He was 96.
