Something from The Tubes, perhaps? Anything but She's a Beauty, though; that one has been done to death.

Here is a request that nobody would ever expect from me. They were never a group that appealed to me a lot except they were all beauties of the the first water! They did perfect the unison singing technique in an original way and they had one song that I love to this day. The group is Bananarama and the song is 'Robert Deniro's Waiting'. Bet nobody saw that coming.
Nose Norton writes:
Can I hear The Factory by Warren Zevon please?
Whispering Hands writes:

Be back here to see what music I spring on you NEXT week! I know -I- can't wait! ;)
I did something today a LOT of conservatives will hate. My downstairs neighbor's grandchildren came by to visit and I went outside with 'em to play a bit. I gave 'em some Superman toys I'd had and we were playing with them a bit, along with some Barbie Princesses. I'd pretend to be a giant dragon about to eat the princess, and Superman would fly to the rescue.
THEN I got a brilliant (I thought) idea. I'd try to eat Superman, and Barbie had to come to HIS rescue! His youngest grand-daughter LOVED playing that game with me.
Now, I wonder how many cons will hate me for empowering a young girl in such a manner? Hehehehe...
Hey, again!
This time I've got a few banners I didn't actually make, but were INSPIRED by me and made by others! At the time they were posted, I had NO idea they'd even been made, so they all caught me off-guard! :) Yeah, I WAS honored by them all. :)
These were used on
The Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages and The Thunderbolts Message Boards. :)
Well, that's gonna do it for now! I'll have more stuff fer ye this weekend! :)
Hello again! I just learned these cards WERE used in a game similar to Old Maid back in 1978 or so. Now, I've never played Old Maid, but here's a link to wikipedia so you can learn.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_maid_%28card_game%29
I also got my hands on the OTHER ten cards in the set, making for 20 total. I've got them here so you can print out your own set and play if you like. :)
Here are the final ten cards! :)
Heh. I ALSO just noticed that the X-Men are quite conspicuous in their absence. There's NO representation of them here: No Wolverine, NOTHING. Heh. How times would change in another year or three, eh? :)
Well, I hope you like these cards, and I'll be back later with more schtuff for you. :)
I don't know where these cards come from, but they were sent to me from a fan of this blog. (Yes, fans DO exist!) ;)
I've never seen these cards before, and wanted to share 'em so others would enjoy them and maybe hopefully have some idea of what kind of game they were used to play. Here are the cards, and I hope you enjoy them! :)
Now, if YOU know how the game was played, you can go ahead and download the cards and play the game yourselves! :) Or you can print the cards and tape them to your walls as mini-posters! :)
I'll have more schtuff later! :)
