Happy Halloween! This time I've got the banners I've been putting up for the past month on the DC Board, as well as the current ones on it and the Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages Board.
The reason I've got more DC banners here is because I very recently became the moderator on the GSBA board, and some posters had some banners already made in their files. Their banners provided me a chance to stockpile a few banners for that board. :)
Here are today's banners for you. Enjoy!
You'll notice I used a LOT of the Spectre in these banners. He had a fantastic series in the 1970's in Adventure Comics that I always got a kick out of. I guess I couldn't resist using him! :)
Happy Halloween! I'll be back later with more banners! :)
This is where I'll be posting my Comic Board banners that I've created, and everything else related to comics, cartoons, movies, and more that I want! :)

Ghosts Of Halloweens Past!
Hello again and Happy Halloween! :)
I've got some banners from the old Cartoon Board that I'd made around Halloween. :) I just hope you appreciate the horrible pun in the title! ;)
I've always liked Danny Phantom and Space Ghost, and it made sense to include the Scooby Doo gang in there! I just wonder who's gonna curse out those "meddling kids and their dog?" ;)
Though, I REALLY don't know why I had Space Ghost and Danny Phantom charging each other. That's for MARVEL characters! LOL :)
I like this one for its simplicity, Space Ghost's puzzled look, and Casper's innocense. And Slimer just looks all kind'a sleazy there! :)
I hope you like these banners, and that you'll come by the boards I moderate nowadays:
The Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages Message Board
and
The DC Comics Message Board
If I don't have a banner up on THOSE two pages right now, I will very soon! And I've got banners up on OTHER boards right now! :)
See you soon!

Some OLD Banners!
This time around, I've got two of the very first banners I ever made! These are VERY plain, with just the characters on 'em. :) These appeared on The Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages Message Board.
It was funny when I posted the Dick Tracy banner, because no one really knew much about him! Conversations were short and few THAT week! LOL :)
Now, the Popeye banner was MUCH more popular! We ALL knew a lot more about him, and loved the character! The week I posted this Popeye banner saw the birth of something I called "Cartoon Fun." Every week I'd post about 10 cartoons from youtube and that proved pretty popular. It also led to me becoming the moderator of the now-defunct Cartoon Board. The reason I quit doing so was because of a brother's suicide a couple of years back.
I'm STILL makin' a lot of the banners, though, and I'm moderating/co-moderating two different boards now. :)
I'll be back with more later! :)

Let's Have A Parade!
Welcome back! :)
This time, I'm just putting up some that look like the characters are marching around. :) I've got Charlie Brown and Snoopy being carried around by the rest of the Peanuts gang, with other cartoon characters looking on. :)
These next two are just welcoming visitors to the old Cartoon Message Board. :) These banners may not be much (I KNOW they aren't!), but I had fun makin' 'em! ;)
I'll have more banners for you to enjoy later! :)

Lights, Camera, ACTION!
Hello! This time we've got two banners made for the DC Message Board. Only one had actually been posted there, though. I'd made the Superman, Green Lantern, and Batman one first, then decided against using it, since 1) I'd made a few banners with each hero already, and 2) they each had their OWN boards. So, the Supergirl, Green Lantern, and Jonah Hex banner is the one that got seen by all. :)
I hope you like both of these. :) I'll be back with more later. :)

The World's Finest!
Hay, their! ;) I'm back with some more banners, and this time I've got Superman and Batman (along with the Joker). These are almost all the actors who'd portrayed the three characters at the time I'd made the banners. I'd left out all of the Superboys since there wouldn't have been any room to include them! ;)
I was ALWAYS sorry I never got to see the George Reeves Superman meet up with the Adam West Batman on TV when I was growing up in the '60's, like they had in the comics. How INSANELY cool would THAT have been? Get an actor in a bald cap to portray Luthor, and you'd've had a WINNER. :)
These banners were seen on the Superman and Batman Message Boards.
Without further ado, here are all of the banners. :)
Kirk Alyn, George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain, and Brandon Routh
Lewis Wilson, Robert Lowery, Adam West, and Michael Keaton
Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson, and Heath Ledger
That'll do it for now, but I WILL be back later with MORE banners for your perusal. :)

Several More!
I've got quite a few banners to go through this time around. I don't even know if all of these had been used in the past. I KNEW I had 'em, though, SOMEWHERE in my files, and finally found 'em this weekend! :)
You'll notice that a LOT of 'em are very plain, and don't have much on 'em at all. This is because these are some of my very earliest creations, and I just wanted to get 'em up. I didn't care if they were great or not, but I DID wanna go for SOME kind of originality. :)
All of these banners came from The Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages Message Board and The Justice League Of America Message Board. I've always liked the Justice Society Of America, and that's why I did the one with the original Green Lantern and Flash, and the Spider-Man/Archies one was just created for fun. It turned out to be the ONLY Spider-Man banner the moderator had for the board at the time, and THAT turned out to be the one used to celebrate the first Spider-Man movie when it first came out several years back! :)
This banner is the one I'd posted here, but in a larger size, and with the name of the message board on it. :) It's still one of my favorite banners with several of my favorite serials displayed on it. :)

More Schtuff!
This time I've got some Legion Of Super-Heroes Message Board banners and Batman Message Board banners by Neal Adams (the BEST Batman artist EVER). :)
Now, I was always a fan of the Silver and Bronze Age Legions, and that's what these two banners will reflect. :)
I didn't care much for the Legion after DC had Superboy leave, though. Some of the "magic" left, and it never quite returned.
As I said before, I always enjoyed Batman and Robin more than just Batman, and the contrast in the colors of their uniforms really struck me. :) Even though I didn't like THE Batman at first, one thing I DID like was that contrast Batman and Robin showed.
One thing that I always liked was how Robin was ALWAYS older than me, until about 1980, the year he dropped out of college. I was ALWAYS older than Robin after that, and for some reason, that NEVER felt right! LOL :)
I'll be back later with more banners for your perusal! :)

More Cartoon Banners!
I've got some of my favorite shows from my mis-spent youth as banners this time around.
I grew up on Superman, Birdman, The Mighty Heroes, Bugs Bunny and more back in the 1960's and 1970's. I guess that's why so few of my Cartoon Board banners dealt with modern cartoons. I don't watch cartoons too much nowadays except for Boomerang, Cartoon Network (rarely), and youtube. They just aren't quite as good as the stuff from my youth. ;)
I'll be back with more later! :)
