I got a virus on Christmas Day, and just got back on! My OTHER gifts were:

the entire series of Arrested Development on DVD
the serial SOS Coast Guard starring Bela Lugosi and Ralph Byrd
and
the Green Lantern movie.

Ghosts Of Christmases Present 3!

Holy Cow! It's already Christmas Eve! What'd you GET for me? ;) I hope all who see this have or had a very Merry Christmas, and got everything you WANTED, as opposed to what you DESERVE. Heh. ;)

Here's several more banners that got used this past Holiday Season, and next week I'll have the last several as well as some that were not used. THEN it'll be back to "normal" banners for the most part for the rest of the year. Okay, I'll PROBABLY make up somethin' special for Independence Day, Memorial Day and the like. :)

In Memoriam 3

Geez! We JUST had Jerry Robinson pass away, and now two more have joined him in eternal rest: Eduardo Barreto and Joe Simon.

Barreto was a DC artist, having done some Superman and Teen Titans stories, primarily, and Joe Simon is best known for having co-created Captain America with Jack Kirby.

Below are the banners that appeared on the Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages, Captain America, and Superman Message Boards.

These gentlemen will be missed.

In Memoriam 2

Jerry Robinson, the creator of Robin, the Boy Wonder, and the co-creator of the Joker recently passed away. He was also the artist on the Batman comic books as well as advertising and much more in the 1940's.

I created these two banners in tribute to his fine artwork. They appeared on the Batman and the Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages Message Boards.

RIP, Jerry Robinson.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I created a couple of Thanksgiving banners this year for the The Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages Message Board, and the The DC Universe Message Board. I'd wanted to try to find the Angel or the Falcon to use for the GSBA Board, but Hawkman had a lot of better images on-line.

I TRIED to use the other heroes, at least! ;)

Hello! I'm back with some more blasts from the past! :)

These banners all appeared on the Justice League Of America Message Board back in 2008 or 2009. :)

Now, I'm sorry about the length of time between posts, but that's where I need YOUR help! Go to the boards I link to at the top of the posts, and tell the moderator to change his banner more often! LOL :) (Don't REALLY do that!) ;) I just don't want to post the banners here until AFTER the mods get to post 'em on their boards. :)

The World's Greatest Super-Heroes!

In case you didn't know, I'm talkin' 'bout the Justice League of America! :) These banners were all put into service on the old Cartoon Board. I know a couple of 'em are pretty crappy (I KNOW I'm bein' generous here), but I THINK those may've been created during a depression I suffered.

Anyway, you can use 'em as a cautionary tale if you like! ;)
