This is where I'll be posting my Comic Board banners that I've created, and everything else related to comics, cartoons, movies, and more that I want! :)
Happy New Year, everyone! :) I hope everyone has a great holiday, and enjoys the New Year, with hopes for a better tomorrow. :)
Now, I've got some more from the PAST for you all to enjoy! More of the classic Hostess ads featuring some of our favorite comicbook characters, and here they are! :)
Well, that's all I have for THIS year, but I'll have more in 2013! ;) Once again, have a Happy and Save New Year! :)
I just learned minutes ago that Charles Durning has passed away today. My favorite roles of his were in Tootsie, as Dustin Hoffman's suitor, and in Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, as the over-the-top governor.
Merry Christmas! I've got several more Hostess ads for your enjoyment now, and all you have to do is get whatever YOU wanna eat, and enjoy THAT at the same time you enjoy the ads! :)
Here they are:
Once again, that'll do it until this weekend. I hope you're enjoying these trips down Memory Lane like I am! :)

Now, I've got a LOT of Silver and Bronze Age DC schtuff to read, so don't bother me for awhile, y'hear? ;)
Merry Christmas to everyone! Lemme know what YOU got, if you want! :)
Jack Klugman has just passed away yesterday on Christmas Eve. He brought joy and laughter to millions of people as Oscar Madison, the slob of a sportswriter on The Odd Couple and the crime-fighting coroner on Quincy, M.D.
I've got several more of the Hostess ads for you! Now, I don't wanna get into the politics of why Hostess closed, but I just hope they run the new company or whatever they do a HECK of a lot better than in the past.
Now, let's get goin' with these comicbook ads. :)
Well, that's it for now. I'll be back the day after Christmas with some more of these things, and I'll letcha know what I got for Christmas, too! :)
Good morning! :) This time around, I'm gonna showcase the old Hostess comicbook ads that were so prevalent in the mid- to late-'70's in so many comics.
One thing I'd've really liked to have seen would've been The Lone Ranger teaming up with Twinkie The Kid or Popeye the Sailor Man teaming up with Commodore Cupcake to bring in their evil-doers. ;)
Now, most of these came from seanbaby.com , but several did NOT. I HOPE I've got a pretty comprehensive line-up. You'll be seeing them at roughly ten each post.
Now, get yourselves a snack cake of some sort, and sit back and enjoy these! :)
Man, if I'd known this stuff was all it took to fight crime! ;)
All right! I'll have some more goodies for you all on Saturday morning. Hope you enjoyed this post! :)
Good afternoon! I figured today that I'd post some of the Justice League Of America banners I'd created some time back. So, obviously, these were all posted on The Justice League Of America Message Board! ;)
Now, I THINK I'll put up a little something different on Wednesday. I hope you'll dig it! ;)
The Fantastic Four
in
Demon Of The Deep Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Well, these six cartoons are it for THIS week! I'll have more for your (hopeful) enjoyment next week! :)
All right, I admit it! I am PUMPED up to see this movie! :) I've got both trailers here for you to check out, too.
And here is the second trailer:
I WAS disappointed in 2006's Superman Returns, but I really have high hopes for THIS one. I saw Henry Cavill in Gladiators about a year ago, and felt then that they made the right choice for Superman. I'm even liking the new costume, and I never minded the red trunks! ;)
Now, I'm just hopeful that Warner Bros. will be able to turn this movie into a whole Justice League of America franchise. We NEED Green Lantern, Flash, and Wonder Woman to join Superman and Batman up on the big screen! And yes, I DO want Aquaman and Martian Manhunter there, too, but I DON'T want to overwhelm the movie-makers or the American public with too many of our heroes. :)
Again, I am really, really pumped up for this movie, and I hope YOU are, too! :) And wait'll you see the banners I've made for the Superman board for this movie! You can get there now, and see the ones some other fans made from stills of the new movie. :)
I've got six more banners that I hope you'll like once more. These all appeared on the Golden-Silver-Bronze Ages and Superman Message Boards.
Now, I'll try to put up some more banners this weekend, along with another Cartoon Fun. :) Seeya then, and don't forget to come on by the message boards sometime! :)
At long last, I've FINALLY got some more banners goin' up! I'll be postin' these for the next several posts, and then go on to somethin' else again. :)
Now, these came from the DC Comics and the Justice League Of America Message Boards. Soon as ya get done checkin' these out, come on by the boards and chat a bit! :)
I hope you enjoyed these banners. They're very much like the letter column headers comics used to have before they got rid of their letters pages. Remember, if you think YOU can do better, I'll be happy to post YOUR banners on the following boards:
I change the banners every Saturday morning, unless something unforeseen comes up, and when THAT happens, I'll explain when I DO change 'em. I'm in charge of all four of the above banners, and I GUARANTEE your banner WILL be posted for all to see! :)
Now, I'll be back early Wednesday with more banners for you to check out, and MAYBE be inspired by! ;)
